Campsite in Tommolansalmi is located along highway 15, in a beautiful pine forest, right on the shore of Lake Korpijärvi.
Tommolansalmi is known for its tranquil surroundings and peace of nature.
The family business owners has been offering holiday cottages, camping and restaurant services in the same area for over 40 years.
The campsite has 26 electrified pitches for campers and caravans. There are also many pitches without electricity for campers and caravans and for tents. Those staying in the tent can also book electrified pitches if there are free pitches.
NB! Electrified pitches are quickly filled in the summer, so it is advisable to book a pitch in advance in the booking system if possible.
All pitches are in the peace of the forest, either on a crushed ground or in a forest landscape. Nearly all pitches have a view of the lake and some pitches are right on the shore of Lake Korpijärvi.
The services of the camping area include a new modern service building with modern toilets, toilet and shower for the disabled / family shower, changing table for babies and other children’s equipment, a washing machine, a water point and chemical toilet disposal point for campers and caravans.
In addition, there is an outdoors kitchen building, heated shower rooms, a hut, a barbecue area, two lean-tos and a campfire site, and two saunas on the beach – an electric sauna and a traditional heated wood sauna.
The summer restaurant is open from the end of May to the end of August from morning until evening. Breakfast, local food, barbecue food, self-made pastries and a variety of savory delicacies and picnic treats are available.
In addition, there are three year-round holiday cottages and three smaller summer cottages for rent in summer, which are particularly suitable for short-term accommodation, for example for hikers.
There are also a wide range of activities especially for families with children and those who want to be in nature, such as children’s play areas and the possibility of renting bicycles, boats, SUP boards and a canoe. Most of the activities are free, such as indoor and outdoor games that can be borrowed.
