Orrainpolku trekking trail

Orrainpolku or Orrai trail, one of the finest hiking trails in South Karelia, is located in Savitaipale, in the scenery of Lake Kuolimo.

There are varied landscapes and climbs along the trail and great views at Luotolahdenvuori to Lake Kuolimo.

At the beginning of the trail is the Onkilampi lean-to, which is also suitable for families with children. The rest of the trail is more demanding and not suitable for small children.

Open: Open all year round, but nature trails are not open during snowy days

Difficulty: Demanding, part of the trail is not suitable for young children
Equipment: Hiking boots, rain gear in the rain, campfire equipment
Please note: You can’t use prams or pushchairs in the nature trails.
