Things to do for kids and sports enthusiasts

Kisala Sports Park and forest playground

The Kisala Sports Park and the Kisala Sports Hall in the center of Mäntyharju is the most important sports center in the area. The area has a starting point for several different routes.

The hiking trail and mountain bike trail from Mäntyharju to Repovesi National Park (see page Repovesi National Park) and skiing trail begin from the sports center.

There is also a children’s Forest Playground in the area of the Sports Park, which has a variety of playgrounds, a mountain bike trail and a sledding hill in winter and skiing opportunities. There is lighting in the area, so children can play in the park also when it’s dark.

Inside the Kisala Sports Hall is a toilet and an opportunity for babysitting. When the sports hall is closed, there is a toilet and shower in the building next to the football field behind the park.
