SWANS, HAWKS, STORKS AND OTHER NATURE’S WONDER

Family-friendly nature trip to the idyllic little bird lake

Lainjärvi bird lake and observation tower

Lainjärvi is a small lake (about 19 hectares) on the west side of Korpijärvi, where you can see many different bird species.

For example, there are various ducks, hawks and swans on the lake.

There is an observation tower at the south end of the lake and there is also a geocache in the area. Read more about geocaching on Hiking at Lake Korpijärvi.

There is no campfire site and no waste management in the area, so all the gargabe and waste should be taken with you.

The place is located by Valtolantie, about 800 m from the crossing of Kokkosenkyläntie, south along Valtolantie, about a few hundred meters from the road.

You can walk along a small trail to the tower. The tower can be a little clumsy to climb, so the attraction is not suitable for the smallest children.

You can leave the car at Valtolantie.
